Who is the tool designed for?
The Work Organisation assessment has been scientifically validated for use by
small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector with a minimum
of 20 employees.
It has been developed with rigorous scientific input from the Institute of Work,
Health and Organisations, University of Nottingham, and EEF's own Chief Medical
Adviser.
If your business operates in a non-manufacturing sector, you can still use the
tool but you should be aware that your results may need further investigation.
What is involved in using the tool? Does it cost my business anything?
There is no charge for using the tool and it shouldn't take more than five
minutes for each person to complete. Your employees can either enter their
responses directly on this website, or if it is easier you can download and
print our questionnaire form for them to complete offline.
If you choose to complete the form offline then either you or a colleague will
need to enter each employee response that you receive. In either case, you'll
receive a company validation code that must be used by you or
your employees when entering responses. You'll also receive a separate code
that will enable you alone to view your online report.
You'll need at least 20 employees to complete the assessment and your online
report won't be available until you have this many. Once all of your employee
responses are entered into our system you will then be able to view your online
report.
